Meet John Truehitt, a 100 Club Heart of Texas member since 2012, currently serving as a Board Member.
John spent 25 years working as a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation and nine years as Chief of Police of the Lacy Lakeview Police Department.
John decided to join the 100 Club Heart of Texas to help support the families of local first responders who passed away in the line of duty, which continues to be one of his favorite things about the Club today. He thinks it’s incredible how almost 100 percent of the money raised goes directly to those family members.
