Meet Khalil El-Halabi, a Board of Advisors member who joined the 100 Club Heart of Texas in 2022.
In his career, he has been with the Woodway Public Safety Department for 15 years, where he currently serves as Public Safety Director. Khalil has also gained many accomplishments throughout his career. He is a Ph.D. candidate majoring in Public Administration and received his Master’s from Kaplan University. He has also received his Master Peace Officer License, a 40 under 40 award through IACP, and multiple Officer of the Year Awards.
Khalil has been active in the community, formerly serving as Youth Leader and on the Worship Team at Fellowship Bible Church. He decided to join the 100 Club Heart of Texas to support the brave officers and first responders who are on the front line daily and oftentimes overlooked. His favorite part of being involved in the organization is how quickly they act when the news of tragedy hits, as it provides much-needed support for families.
Khalil has been married to his wife since 2012, and in his spare time, he loves to exercise.
